I bought the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro for Nikon. I wanted something to replace my 18-70 for my D700.

After putting it on my D700, I noticed that the zoom ring gets stiff around the 24 to 40 range, then smooth all the way to 70. Would this be an issue that would have you bring the lens back to the store, or would you think that this just needs some usage on it?
