With a monthly Free Study in the first week of every month why don't we...
1. Have a monthly expert editing challenge for members in the second week
2. Have a monthly minimal editing challenge for members in the third week
3. Have a special challenge for members in the fourth week - something like "must use a focal length of 100mm", "use a lensbaby", or something different from usual challenges

The only issue I can see is that there's already too much complaining about the lack of originality and creativity with challenge topics, so adding a few more a month could really water things down.
That third suggestion though, I like, although it has more of a possibility of alienating too many users that wouldn't have access to the hardware related ones. |

Sounds good to me.
We have so many members with a variety of interests and preferences, we could certainly do with a few more choices to make more people happy more often. |
