Hello- I've just joined here to participate in the challenges- sorry if I've missed this info somewhere on the site itself, but I believe I've read in people's comments that they watch the score of their photo throughout the voting window- I can't figure out how to do this though? I entered a picture in the Ansel Adams contest. Do I have to be a full member to watch my photo's rating before the voting is done?

Thanks,
Erik

I don't think you have to be a member...

Go to "My Home"-> "My Preferences"-> and under "My Home Preferences" turn on "My Scores"

That will display your stats on the home page during voting.

Also, since this is your only challenge entered, the Average Vote Received stat on your profile page tells us all how you're doing in this one. A 5.5714, great job for your first entry!

And, if you see people that appear to know the exact votes they have received, they are using a spreadsheet to calculate it. You can find a link to a good one on HawkeyeLonewolf's profile page.

N/A. As a Registered User, he wouldn't be able to update often enough to calculate individual votes.

Good point, at least not the first day. Maybe in the middle of the week when voting slows down. He doesn't need that update button addiction anyway.

For this first challenge he can still track votes because his votes received and average is the same as his overall votes received and overall average on his profile page. When he enters his second challenge however he will be sol on figuring stuff out via the spreadsheet.

Thanks for all the responses... still a little confused. I've always had the 'show my scores' box checked, but the only place where I can see my score is on my profile page, which only really helps this time because its my first challenge.

I don't care about all the exact scores, but I think it'd be cool to see the running average of my picture for a challenge during the voting. It seems that I should see this (and my comments which I don't see either). When I click on my picture, all I see is the image, and a message saying that if I'll be away, or think it may be challenged, I can upload the original ahead of time.... no score or comments.

Am I missing something?

Thanks!
Erik
