I'm watching it now on CNN.com Hopefully they can all get out, there are lots of boats near the floating plane helping people out.

Luckily the plane seems to be in remarkably good shape for a crash landing in water so hopefully everyone is okay.

Thanks for the notification.. I turned on CNN after seeing this.. Isn't it strange that it's not sinking ???

First report from pilot is they hit a flock of Canadian Geese, & it is slowly sinking.

I can't stream CNN here in Aus, but have seen the pictures.
Planes are designed to float. Its actually a regulatory requirement.
Also, it didn't really crash on the water. The pilot set it down as he had lost power to an engine (flew through a flock of geese). As a result, the hull is in tact.
Looks positive that all should get out ok, with a very interesting flying story to tell.

Watched the live video as the cockpit went under.......with the Web, nothing's secret any more.

Kind of an eerie thing to watch it sink.

That was no plane crash. It was a plane that landed in the water.

Great job by the pilots, this could have been very ugly. Sounds like every one survived and not many injuries.

A couple of snaps from my office:

These were taken from a distance of about 10 blocks and 16 stories up, through highly tinted window glass. I didn't bother to straighten the horizon on the first.
