HOW DO YOU DO IT?
Easy example. Go to the main page; featured pic shows up, as well as thumbs below.
Then I click on the featured pic so it gets big.
HOW DO I GET BACK TO THE MAIN PAGE?!?!?!
I seriously cannot figure out how to do it. |
The Large 1X logo at the top left of the page. |
Thanks--but I think I just gave a bad example, because that doesn't solve the real problem I have.
Ok, new example:
Main page.
Click on "Landscape" at right.
Click on whatever photo --> it displays.
Now, how to get back to the "Landscape" gallery without having to go all the way through the main page? If I click "Back," it takes me to the main 1x splash, which is incredibly frustrating.

When I do that, back button takes me to the gallery again... No problem...

What browser are you using?
Maybe it's specific to the one I run (Chrome)... |

1x only supports Firefox. They make no promises for any other browser. |

Yeah, it's a Chrome thing, I think. I noticed it with Chrome the other day. It's a bit irritating |

Sheesh. I could warm up to 1x much more easily if it weren't so incredibly pretentious. |

Two rejects,
One of my personal favorite's
and my son's favorite, I had it printed 20" by 30" and mounted and it looks really nice.
On a positive note my tornado shot that was selected has passed 55,000 views and just hit 100 favorites.

Heh! At this moment, the 1x page is more colorful (and has more wildlife and landscapes) than the DPC homepage. |

Not to mention the 1x book they sell over there has an exploding wine glass on the cover.

My most recent smack downs.
Plenty of positive comments, didn't seem to affect the screener. |

Now that one is quite simply a crime to turn down. Seriously. |

Looking through the previews I wanted to fav one of the photos but rather than linking it directly to the photographer's photo page it just displays it on a temp page that doesn't give you any options.

I gave them a try, my stuff is really not there style. I did get a note and comment on the image. So I feel they really looked at it. Some amazing photos over there. I took some of the suggestions from the challenge and reworked the image, agree I did go over board on the sky on the original.

Congrats Mae! Stunning shot!
As for me, i'm not even going to bother posting all my rejects here. There are far too many of them now! They obviously don't know a good picture of dead fish when they see one. I won't give up though and am off to the fishmongers this very afternoon. |

Very impressive! I'm on 40 rejects which is a nice round number at least. I use them for my website so can submit up to 5 a week but i'm pretty much all submitted out now. |
