Hi everyone. I recently started using photoshop CS3 and when I go to save a file for web for a challenge my photo is looking flatter and it seems like maybe becoming desaturated a bit. In order to get the web-sized photo to look similar to what I created in photoshop I have been adjusting the hue/saturation until the web file looks about the same as what I had in photoshop. I know that I must be able to do something to fix this. My current color settings are North America General Purpose 2, and RGB is sRGB IEC61966-2.1. I appreciate any help that anyone can give to point me in the right direction. Thanks! |

In CS3 there's a Save for web option. Use that and the colors will turn out the same as in CS3. I recently went through this issue. |

Turn on proof colors and proof setup to monitor - that will turn off color management and show (as you edit) how it will look on the web for most people. |

Thanks for the help guys. I was using save for web when the photos were turning out like that. I just changed my settings to proof colors and proof setup to monitor. I think that was my problem and I will let you know when I have a chance to work on something later. Thanks for the help. |
