Hey Guys... I decided it might be fun to share some black and white film stuff I did last summer. I've posted five on my Sportsshooter webpage. It talks a bit about them on the page as well if you are interested... these were my favorites... I did all developing, printing, scanning etc. ENJOY!
Also.. please take a look at the beginnings of my new website... it has a LONG way to go... but it does have my current photojournalism portfolio on there if you are interested (heavy in sports). Thanks for taking a look :-).
Oops... new website hehehe... Check it out :-)

those black and whites are really great. But you already know that! :) Are you still a sophomore at Cornell or is that site old? |

Thanks Are_62 and JPR
JPR - I am currently finishing my Sophomore year at Cornell. I just updated the site yesterday :-). If you check out my profile here it also says that. I guess I should get working on my "About Me" page on my new website but finals are rearing their ugly heads here soon and boy... well for lack of a better word, they are UGLY... hehehe...
Anyway... thanks guys for checking out my stuff... I realize that I'm not asking for critiques, although I do appreciate comments on my work
Are_62 as far as the Ka'ron Barnes photo goes you might be interested to know that (and those on this site who complain about the unfair advantage of not being able to afford good lighting) I spent a total of about 10 bucks on the lighting... they are basically raw houselight bulbs I picked up at a hardware store :-).
Anyway thanks for taking a look!

Thanks Karen... when I have more time this summer I may try to submit it to some places to see what I can do with it. I think it may be my favorite photo I have ever taken :-) On here it is for sale (pretty inexpensively ;-)) as Ballet Love if you are interested :-)

hey tolovemoon... the circus photo was the headliner for sportsshooter for quite a while... I love it because of the brilliance of the colors :-). Question for people.... I'm thinking of putting the merry go round photo into my portfolio in place of the snowboarding one... in terms of a photojournalism photo... what do you think, as well as fitting with the rest of my portfolio? Thanks guys!
