I couldn't decide between color or B/W!

I really liked the colors that one might not expect from a standard fly. I kept bouncing back between the colored and B/W versions of each of these photos. I don't know if I like the composition of the second. I'm thinking I should have entered a B/W version of my actual entry for a better score, but somehow I'm more proud of the colored version.

I would, but I'm holding out for a best of 2008 (I should have entered it in the Free Study, but I switched at the last minute and I'm kickin' myself for it)

Oh sheez... I prefer your outtake SO MUCH more! The subtle silhouette and tones, so serene! You goofed in your choice big time! :-O

My entry which gave me a PB and a ribbon!

My outtakes from the same shoot:

I hesitated to post these as I anticipated entering one in the Best of 2008 challenge but I decided that a photo from the same shoot would be to obvious, although I do feel they are the best of the year for me. But I'll find something else I'm sure.

I'm a bit late posting a couple of my outtakes from this free study. I didn't do a good job of picking a winner at all. These were my other choices. It was certainly an amazing sunset that night!
