Has anyone see the trailer for this movie?

Trailers on Apple's website

Looks like a pretty interesting concept and character designs. I checked out the original short film (also called "9") and it is pretty interesting too. you can find it on youtube Here

Can't say I've seen it, I'm so behind on movies coming out these days.

"9"? I heard about that, that's the sequal to the movie 10, with Bo Derek, but after she was in that horrible movie called Orca: Killer Whale where she got her leg bitten off. See her leg was bitten off in that movie, so now she can only be a 9. Sounds like a great flick!

Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, Martin Landau, Christopher Plummer, John C. Reilly - quite an ecclectic gathering. Looks like a cross between Wall-E, Wizards, and Nightmare before Christmas. Surely rentable, but not big screen money, IMO.

I've never been a fan of Tim Burton, but with this cast there is a possibility that the movie will be enjoyable. I think I'll wait for the DVD, though.

Whaa? I love Tim Burton. Pee-Wee's Big Adventure is my all time favorite movie. (I'm trying to figure out how I can replicate the kitchen from that movie!)
I wait for so many movies to come out on DVD now, I guess I'm just too cheap to pay to go to the movies.

I'll watch 8-1/2 again.

That's 9 if you round up and I KNOW Fellini makes a great film.

Tim Burton is hit and miss for me. He's a bit of a egomaniac, and sometimes he tries WAY too hard to be unique, but then just ends up looking sadly over-stretched.
