I won't be submitting any shots to the "Where you live" challenge. Instead of spending my free time this weekend in my village, city, or town, I took advantage of the beautiful weather and got outdoors. It was a really great weekend. I saw a coyote for the first time in years and nearly stepped on what I think was a copperhead. Here is a shot from a hike up in Harriman that I am pleased with. I will upload some more later.

You could always submit one of those photos and claim that you live in the woods. I mean, I doubt they check... :)

If I had found a little shack out there I would have submitted that for sure.

LOL.

No. Decided not to advertise it after looking at it on this monitor thanks to theodor38's comments. There is something off about it that I am not pleased with.

Thank you. They were very sincere, helpful, and unsugarcoated. I greatly appreciate this kind of feedback.

Check out the mosquitos too. Unlike the snake, they did bite me.

Here's another one I like

And in case nobody noticed, my username has officially been changed!

I noticed, and it was freaking me out! I looked at this thread and looked at your username and I thought, "JPR? That seems alot like JasonPR." I had to look at your profile, and then it was ok. JPR, like NPR (National Public Radio). Oh, and nice shots.

Sorry to freak you out. Thanks for looking and for the title idea. :)

Curious why you changed it, and how? I was thinking about changing mine--though the opposite way you went. I think it's helpful in the forums to have your first name part of your userid.

I changed it because most people actually call me JPR (my initials) because Jason is such a common name. I just send the request and it was done immediately!

Hmm. Now that I see the photos in the challenge I wish I had sumbitted something. There are a lot of landscape shots! Oh well. I'm almost proud of myself for not submitting. I am getting over my addiction and no longer get that shaking feeling that I need to submit something to every single challenge regardless of quality or theme.
