I'd have some of that pizza, but my wife is trying to decide where we are eating for new years and I don't want to ruin my appetite.
I've dropped a little, but that normally happens after the first day. Still on the high side for me. I was expecting a high 4 or low 5 from this. Ya' never know.

As has been well pointed out by a number of the comments, I seem to have mis-read the brief... Never mind, it was a joke entry anyway! Anything above 5 and I'll be happy! |

Is it just me? Or does it appear that many photographs have their main subject as transparent, but there is nothing behind it. According to the challenge description, the subject should be behind the transparent object, not the transparent object being the subject. |
I'm having a hard time voting on this challenge for this very reason. There are some beautiful shots of transparent objects but they do not meet the challenge description (unless the blank wall behind is the subject, which I highly doubt). |

When I posted the photo, I worried that people would not see the transparent part and think DNMC. Maybe I should have left it out, but I do believe it meets the challenge, just not as obviously as it probably should. I'm hoping it gets above 5.2...

Doing well over here. Was at an even 6 until I hit the update button. This one will be keeping me on the edge of my seat for the rest of the week.

I confess to a certain feeling of disappointment as I climb from an all-time-worst score of 3.3+ to a current 3.6+, which (if it holds) will only make this my second-worst scoring image ever. On the other hand, my worst-scoring image is actually one of my BEST images, so maybe it's cool that it remain my worst?

In some cases, if the transparent object being viewed through is very small, it can act as a sort of lens and the subject has to be placed very close behind in order to be seen thru it. In this type of case, the subject is so close to the transparent object that only a very small portion is visible, thus making the background appear to be blank or have very little detail. |
