Before you to go bed, pour in a can of coca~cola. When you wake up, brush and flush. Gone! Like magic! :)

Isn't it amazing how caustic coke is? Why do they let us drink it?

It's not just Coke® ...

My tip for the year.

'Just because an image is not well received by one website....doesn't mean it is a failure...there are people out there that will appreciate your image. Never don't give up.'

What about "I'll enhance it in Photoshop", is that ok? ;)

that's a hard lesson for me to learn ... I need to work on it next year because I get discouraged by the crap scores ... my photography has come a LONG way since joining this site but the scores haven't seemed to improve much ...

oh and my tip: if onions make you cry like a baby, put them in the freezer for about 10 min before you chop them ... freezes the juice and vapors, makes your mascara last longer too!!

I just joined DPC so my scores could be anything and I wouldn't know if it was good or bad, but the other day I was looking way back in the archives and seeing stuff which would be lucky to hit 5 now getting scores of 8 and better.

It looks like low voting is the norm now, and from what I see, scores for better images are going down compared to what they were in the past, so if your scores are consistent that must mean your images are improving. (that all makes sense to me in my strange twisted head).

thanks, I'll buy your strange twisted version onaccounta it sorta makes sense to me also ... I just wish that I'd have figured out the sure fire formula to score 6+ on most images by now, oh well ... I'm addicted to this place and I'll keep coming back for more score punishment, week after bloody week!

Some tips from my wife's family cookbook (obviously not just a cookbook).
They have 2 pages of these kinda tips:

- Ants will not cross a chalk line.
- Stuff miniature marshmallows in the bottom of an ice cream cone to stop drips
- If you accidentally over-salt something while it's still cooking, drop in a peeled potato. It absorbs the excess salt for a quick fix.
- To determine if an egg is fresh: drop it in a bowl of cold salted water. If it sinks, it's good. If it floats, throw it away.
- Don't throw out your left-over wine... freeze it into ice cubes for later use in cooking.
- Try using scotch tape to remove a splinter. It works a great deal of the time.

*Disclaimer: I haven't actually tried any of these (just read them from her book), so use at your own risk ;O)

Happy New Year! :O)
