40D priced at $650 here. Would you buy from this seller?

| It is a factory refurbished with only a 90 day warranty, that is probably why it's a bit lower than other retailers. Amazon has brand new one's for $786 with full year warranty so it is a bit of savings but you are getting a reburb vs getting a new one. |

| Refurbished! Yeh I just saw that, dont want refurbished. I'll wait till jan. and see if theres some price movement in that slow period. |

I'll sell you a used 40D for $650. That's about the going price. I have a 5D on the way and three 40Ds - I don't need all three, but am waiting to 'announce' the sale till next week. If it's only going to sell for $650 I'm tempted to keep it as a studio only body.
Your choice - sept 07 body that has a new shutter 2 months ago, or a may 08 body still under warranty but it probably has more shots on it's shutter.

| I did'nt realize the price reduction on the 40d was mostly due to an instant rebate. So I missed the bus and the 40d jumped from $768 to $850 to $899. So looks like I'll be waiting till christmas again. My bad :( |
