i downloaded an action and dropped it in:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Presets\Actions
its not showing up under actions, did i put it in the wrong spot? |

You've done half the job but you still gotta load into into your workspace.
Click on the little triangle to the right of the actions list to view the menu options and select "load action".
