This is a great organization for those of you needing assistance in modification of your mortgage. It's free. It works.
If you are going to lose your home because your loan was made by a predatory lender, please check this organization out.
Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America
This country is By the people, For the people, Of the people...not banks, wall street, OPEC, or even manufacturers.

NO, I think there are more members out there with economic problems then those that own airplanes.
I am for the little guy, not the bailed out one. Not that anyone notices any of the links I ever provide any way.

We notice :)
I know, I'm bad about responding when it's informational threads rather than discussion ones. If I have nothing to offer in info or opinion I tend to say nothing when I should be at least saying, "thanks for the info".
I, for one, appreciate all your work in bringing us links that you feel affect members.
Thanks :) |

I notice, too! In fact, this is exactly the link I've been looking for. Our ridiculous 80/20% mortgage is killing us. |

i notice. though this one isn't relevant to our situation.
this might be of interest.
banks hide bailout spending
we're not talking about a $30K home equity loan, we're not talking about $20K car loan. we're talking about $700 + billion of tax payer money the government decided to give to the banks that caused/allowed/convinced the little guy to buy into to more than they could handle.
IMO they should be held accountable for every single f'n penny of it !
also IMO - they aren't being held accountable because those that decided to let them have it are reaping hidden benefits from the 'loan'....

In an article related to both banks and aircraft, it seems that even though it's a bad thing for the automotive CEOs to do, the Wall Street execs are still jetting around the world on private jets, even though their bailout dwarfs anything the automakers were asking for. |

Perhaps if you took a bit more care to be just a bit more informative in titling your threads. I opened the thread, fully expecting a discussion about NASA's predecessor. Something like "N.A.C.A. - Mortgage help for the little guy" |

Great, another example of our government, right or definetly wrong, keeping track, and guaranteeing our hard earned 33%-35% income tax, and our 8.25% sales tax money is being spent on the bail out. Just f...ing great!

The same could be said for you...
Take the time to read the OP instead of assuming you know what the topic is about through merely a title.

I did read it, but as I said, what I got when I opened the thread and what I was expecting from reading the title were two very different things. The communication started with you and you were the one who expressed concern that no one notices your threads.
"N.A.C.A." by itself could (and does) mean a lot of different things.
It was just a suggestion. Take it or leave it, but there's no need to attack the messenger.

Just because I don't reply, doesn't mean I don't love you.
I opened the thread because I wanted to see what 'NACA' stood for. Now I understand it's an organisation of plane owners interested in air safety who clubbed together to help home-owners sort out their mortgage problems, things are so much clearer. |

My comment about no one noticing the thread was after your post assuming what was what, not before.
I am not attacking 'the messenger', but do get your facts correct.

I'm always afraid you will cut your breasts and insert those bones with ropes again if I respond to your posts. I can't bear to see you dangling from those ropes.
(I'll probably get crucified again for trying to be funny. But it's the holidays, fark it all to heck.) |

Are you kidding??? The only reason I looked at this thread was because you'd posted it.
I pretty much check out every photographer link that you post, and I swear one of these days you'll find me a job in Seattle (heck, I even go through your Internship thread - hoping to convince one of them to pay me). ;O) |
