Maybe it has been suggested before, but this is one feature over at flickr.com which I find extremely useful: you can see all the latest photos uploaded by your favorite photographers (those you marked as your favorites, that is) in one stream. I like to follow the work of my favorite photographers here, but it takes a conscious effort to go through all their names, clicking on them and then scrolling down to their recent uploads, going back, etc... I think it would be very easy to write a script to make it automatic and in one page, sorted by the date/time of upload. We could limit either the time (say a week's worth), or the number of photos on that page.
And while we are at it, here is another suggestion: why can't we make a photo a part of several collections, not just one? If say I upload a BW portrait taken in China, I would like it to be a part of at least three collections - China, portraits, and BW. Should also be rather easy to do, no? |
