3/5 of 1 inch = 1.52400 centimeters - does that help?

The lines are broken into sixteenths. .6 of an inch....it's about 5/8ths...

so wait. ill be measuring out 3 inches and 1.5 centimeters...thats lame. is there an easier way?(hints at telling me how many centimeters are in 3.6 inches:)

1 inch is equal to 2.54 centimeters.
So multiply 3.6 by 2.54 centimeters. That should get you what you asked for.

Using the trusty slide-rule (yes I have one) the closest I get is 3.609375 inches equal 3-39/64ths of an inch or just over 3-5.8ths of an inch. Or like others have said just use centimeters and you'll get 9.144 centimeters or you can go with millimeters and have 91.44 millimeters

Online converstions for just about anything

6 3/4 divided by 9, well 6 3/4 is also 6.75 / 9 = 0.75 or 3/4

not sure if this is where you're going, but you can fit exactly 4 of those 6 3/4 inch lines onto the 27 inch long one.
