You don't have to live in Asia to enter this challenge! Show us your best photo that has an Asian flavour and bring the "Far East" to DPC this week.

Great suggestion, Karen! I share my appartment with two chinese guys, so if anything else fails i'll have them infront of the camera. lol

Hell just take photos of about anything in America, China owns about half of it...

I really like that idea, Karen.
Hmmm, I have had an idea that is 'Asian' for a while that would fit quite well. But like My Music Box & Ducktor Who it involves quite a bit of Pre-production:-) Sigh, seems like I have alot of that lately. |

I live in the Southern Appalachians -- a place that I would feel safe in saying probably has the lowest concentration of anything whatsoever Asian.
That said, bring it on! It would give me a good excuse to go to my favorite Japanese hibachi/sushi bar. |

obviously without the made in china products. would be too easy! :) or better without not typical chinese object builded in china.

| "The Far East" may be a better challenge title than "Asian". Asia includes India, Russia, Iraq, etc... |

| I work for a the US division of a Japanese company. I could just shoot a photo of any of our products. And then get slammed with tons of DNMC's. |

i ran a quick check on the territories in Asia and this is the result.
Asia is indeed large, and by no means limited to slit eyed, yellow skinned people (eastern).
just thought the submitters and voters should know in advance.
edit to add: i never knew countries like Iraq was in Asia, OMG my geography teacher is so gonna kick me in the ass

This is discrimination. Where's the Puerto Rican challenge? Also, my application to house an Asian exchange student for a day fell through. :(
