"snap a nice meal you've created".... hmmmm.... I don't think I've ever created a nice meal! lol

Mmmm I have some tasty ideas!

Not creating any tasty meals til the Posthumous MC and the November FS deadlines are pasta.

What IS it about photographing food anyway? Why not shoes or scissors or grungy dog toys?

Grrr not fair! Why can't this run for a week!

I love shooting pics of food but haven't got time over the next 48 hours :-(

Well, since my superpower is the ability to devour a huge feast, I might knock out 2 challenges in one sitting!

Not sure any of my "nice meals" would actually be photogenic! Im jsut not good with laying it out nicely and I doubt a plate piled with roast chicken, random veg and a big splodge of mashed potato would score very highly :D
It is however a good excuse to do a roast dinner in the middle of the week..

p.s. happy thanks giving to all who celebrate it

Well, you would only eat shoes if you were totally desperate (a la Charlie Chaplin in The Goldrush); scissors are even harder to chew. I wouldn't even want to look at grungy dog toys, let alone eat one. ;-Þ

A TV dinner would be nice. As long as you set it up with a candle stick, juice bottle and some nice disposable cutlery it'll be a sure winner. If you leave the dinner in the tinfoil you just might get a natural star burst.

The choice of table cloth is key here...

Beeeutiful! ;)

There's a good article in the newest issue of Popular Photography if you haven't already seen it:

Food Photography How-to: Before you take a bite, take a picture!

And that worries you? My camera and tripod are ready to go in the car in a few minutes time. I'm sure everyone knows I'll be bringing it, anyway :-)
