I''ll get someone with one of those scrolling message signs to put the word "Hindenberg" on it and title the photo LED Zeppellin.

I'll photograph a tree and then be mystified as to how none of you can see the connection between trees and illumination.

This is what happens when I have a busy day and don't get to check out the site until the afternoon. Man, I'm missing all the fun!

45 to rate a photo of a fluorescent bulb down to the bottom, because everyone knows fluorescents aren't "real" lightbulbs.

(better only enter that lava lamp photo if you don't mind a low score ;>)

One to complain that those voters are not enlightened.

This is the best "light-hearted" discussion we've had around here since the Elvis bananananananas.

Would we score these by process of illumination?

That depends on the frequency of entries (I'm sure we're on the same wavelength here). I was thinking that we better snuff out this thread before some of our short-fused compatriots (you can guess which luminaries I mean) reach their flash-point and label us as a couple of flamers. I have this gloomy foreshadowing that what we see at the end of the tunnel is more likely the headlight of an oncoming train than a Star of Bethlehem...
