Not as impressive as it sounds. We're paying 86.4 cents a LITER. That's 3.77 liters in a gallon.

3.77 x 0.864

3.25 a gallon (Canadian funds, but we're also currently sitting at like, 70 cents to your dollar.)

Yah, we're getting hosed.

Wait until someone from the UK shows up ;D

Here in Finland it's 1.20 Euro per litre. Making it around 4.50 Euros per gallon. With current exchange rates that's US$5.60. :)

ETA. And that is cheaper than it was a while ago...

Last night was the first time in ages I've managed to fill my car for under £40 (~$60) .... I did have a 5p off a litre voucher but still at 92.9p per litre wasn't too bad from 121.9 a few weeks ago .... that's still $5.16 per US gallon!!!!

I use diesel and it's still too high @ $2.80/gal. Better than the $4.999 I paid back in the summer no doubt. I suppose folks should enjoy it while it lasts.

We're not quite that cheap in Detroit yet ... it's selling for $1.75 near my house ...

Well, look at it this way...most of you have REAL gas, that actually gets REAL gas mileage. Here we have some "Oxygenated" fuel or something...not PURE gas that is supposed to help with air polution...hasn't done a thing, and it KILLS your fuel mileage. We were lucky enough to have to pay over $4 for that crap this summer. I want REAL gas again for as cheap as everyone is getting. :)

We're still at $2.54/gallon here.

Explain your comment there Mr? Is it a gas thing? If so then no comment needed. ;]

Yeah, but it cost them extra to heat the tanks to keep it from freezing! :)

$2.15 around Pittsburgh. Much better than $4.19 this summer, but still depressing when we're among the most expensive.

Wanna place any bets that some bizarre thing will happen about a month from now that causes prices to shoot up? Just saying this because we'll be taking a 2,500-mile drive, and these things have a habit of happening to us...

It'll happen for sure but not because of you Alan. :) Someone somewhere will create a reason I'm sure. With hurricane season over I have no idea what though. Maybe a prediction of a really really really cold winter ahead could drive up prices. Or, in Jan. Obama takes office, could that be used as a stimulus for hiking prices because of the Muslim army he secretly hides in his basement? eheh
