It works! It changes the weather or day/night effects depending on your location and what theme you've selected. Very cool. |

For those of you with multiple Gmail accounts, how do you EASILY switch between them?
I use the notifier with my account, is it possible to have two of those?

Sorry- I'm not sure other than logging out and logging in. I have been wanting to install the notifier too - not sure if I should do that at work though.
Speaking of work ... howzabout a "THEME" that makes the email window look like any old Mac or windows window. Now that would hee wink-wink knudge-knudge hush-hush ...

If you haven't yet, log out and log back in.
That's how I got the themes to show up. |

Can't you set 'em up so that one (your primary) checks the other by POP? Then set up multiple "send" accounts and voila. You can also use filters to tell you "which one" you are reading from. You could also set it up so that replies are sent from whichever account they came in on. I use gmail to access ALL my POP3 accounts, and since a POP3 reader can ACCESS gmail, this should work marvelously.
So, you'll only log in with one account and you'll see ALL your email, with the note from the filter telling you which one is which, or even automatically putting it in a correct folder.
Gmail is THE answer to email. Period. None better. |

Or, you could set up one of them to forward to the other one and then automatically delete or mark as read. Just another way. Lotsa options.

Here's what we do at home:
My wife uses Safari,
I use FireFox.
When she goes to gmail on Safari, it's her email saved as auto log-in, same for me in Firefox.

Metatate - you bring up a different perspective entirely.
I had assumed this was one person with two different gmail accounts. Perhaps a bad assumption.
If this is two people using one computer, the best approach is to set up two users on the computer, and then firefox or whatever will store the cookies to match.
Why would someone share computers??? Even my three year old has her own. Well, sorta :) There's four people, four computers. Each to his own. Literally. :) |

I'm proposing that one person could do the same thing (use 2 Browsers). Each email account could be accessed from a different browser - therefor never needing to log out. Just an idea.

We have an imac in the living room. I can't say whether this is working out or not. It does allow for a general obsession with "looking things up" on the fly though.

There are millions of people in this country who don't have/can't afford one computer at home -- drop in at any library around here and you'll usually find all the public terminals occupied. |

Oh.
I have more than one computer, only I only have one working at home, and it's about 5 years old (with a screaming Pentium III chip!); guess I haven't had enough coffee yet. :-) |

Themes, schmemes... I just want to read my mail! Harrumph!
Grumble, Grumble.... Fix the darn spam, then we'll talk... chortle... chortle...
Themes showed up last night at home, but I haven't set one up yet. However, in the same accout, here at work under IE6, the themes option does not appear.... Hmmmm Age discrimination, maybe?

UGH! You're making my head spin! But maybe some day I'll feel brave and try to set that up.
In the meantime, I might get Chrome (which I am not using due to lack of mouse gestures) and follow this idea:

anyway. we both use gmail and facebook. on my machine, she uses firefox because she used to keep leaving her crap logged in and it make. hulk. angry.
