lol, I just got an email from PCPhoto and I had entered their My World Photo Contest and I see one of my photos (the only one like it in the contest) got in the finalists. Each person gets one vote through the 100 photos. If you think my creation deserves it you can click this link to vote.

I believe this was done using a specific processing technique that was all the rage a year or so back in a few photography circles. (I know flickr had a million of them) |

I think he did the same thing I did to create this one:
Except he started with a 360 degree view, so he got a really nice planetball.
-Wide panaorama
-flip
-distort to square
-polar coordinates filter
-clean up edges and make look pretty
Miniplanets are easy to learn but hard to master.
