This might be fun.
How universal are lucky and unlucky items? Does a rabbits foot, horse shoe, 4 leaf clover or other items mean anything in Iceland, Germany or Australia (just to name a few of the fine countries represented here) that it would mean to me in the US. If someone shoots a red pencil, how do I know whether a red pencil is a "luck symbol" in their culture, or they are just having some DNMC fun with us. |
