I haven't uploaded any photos in so long I felt left out.
We were shooting today in Ennis, Texas, home of the Texas Blue Bonnet Festival. I shot this one of a very nice "Paint Brush".

Comments and suggestions are welcome :)

All detail are in the decription.

The first red 'paint brush' seems to strain my eyes somehow, it seems like it was over-sharpened a bit. Well, they all 3 do, but the pink 'Paint Brush' isn't as bad.

Nice colors though

I'd tend to agree about the first and second ones - they look like some subject movement or camera vibration was being addressed with a lot of sharpening - are the originals a bit soft ?

It could very well be movement I was on my knees trying to hand hold the shot with the 105mm macro lens. I did very little sharpening while processing the raw files in Photoshop.

I was also trying too shoot using the histgram and the were about -.5 -1 underexposed. I need to get the feel for it I guess.

I will try to re-process them again and see if they come out better.
I will be busy all week so not sure when I will get to re-process them.

Thanks for the comments :)

Okay, then for suggestions I'd start with

tripod
mirror lock up
remote/release

:)

Oh yeah and I was dead tired at that time in the morning I was working on them :) We did not settle in until very late.
