This might not be the sort of thing that is required either, but this gorgeous dog was in the street.

A couple on the theme of people choosing their lunch.

Here are a couple more working with reflected light. I am thinking of making a thread to explaining more about these places and give another outlet to post photos working with this light. It will be based on these two groups on flickr, The brightest Spot and No Flash Corners. Will put a link here to the thread once I get it organized. :)

This ones ok but if I had some more time to wait (which I didn't) something interesting would have happened through that space within a few minutes. My friends moved down the road so I'll be back enough to get something better.

The thumb looks good. Where'd this go?

By the way, does anyone have any other similar sites to suggest? Not thinking of leaving DPC just curious as to any other places as well...

A different kind of street shot - taken with a homemade pinhole body cover on the Rebel.

There is a fantastic site out there which has digital art, digital photography and blended works, trouble is I can't remember it's name and I haven't found it myself in a while. Perhaps someone else knows it?

DeviantArt?

As for the pinhole thing, there is a side challenge right now for the weirder amongst us who are trying our hand at pinhole and zoneplate photography. For more background, go to this thread. At the end of that thread should be a link to the thread where pictures are being posted. Appreciate all the feedback on my first attempt at street photography using a pinhole camera!

Actually I have just had another look and found the site I was referring to. However I was wrong about the digital photography bit. What they do have is a category called photo manipulations, and they are very, very manipulated. The site is //digitalart.org/art.top.php.

Thanks for that Deb. I have just been having a look. Fascinating stuff, and more to explore.
