Have we done this before? Just for fun...

1888/2304 = 0.8194 = 81.9%
If you've made a lot of comments in the last day or two, you might wish to deduct those not marked as helpful, as folks may not have gotten there yet. So allow for some error.
So how helpful are you?

I'm a statistical anomaly all by myself. Out of 468 comments made so far, 200 were in the last Free Study and weren't, by design, very *cough* helpful.
So many weren't marked as, even if they were liked.
One reason I'd really love that term changed up a bit. lol.
So while I'm sitting at 76% marked helpful, it's a bit of a red herring. It'll further go kablooie at the beginning of November ;D |

86% helpful. Although I truly think this is not a true test of whats helpful and whats not. Most people dont want to hear anything other then OMG you friggen rock! If you give them a real critique they almost act offended. I've even had some PM me telling me such when giving an honest critique. And lets be honest how helpful are OMG you friggen rock, and are the most awesome photographer in the whole world, unless by being helpful you are trying to boost an ego.

quite true, if i am criticizing areas of a photo though, i make sure to point out good aspects of it too, i typically don't post all negativity in a comment.

Made: 3548 Helpful: 2939 = 82.8354... I suppose that's kinda sorta helpful...but some site members don't check off ANY comments at all, no matter how nice, with great scores (ie 8s, 9s, 10s).
I HATE when that happens cause they come across as ungrateful. They take a high score and excellent comment for granted. |

One has been running about 200 behind the other for over a year now. I guess that some of my earlier comments were not so helpful.
I mark all that I receive helpful, just to let the commenter know that I have seen it. I have only 3 not marked helpful, and those are 3 that I accidentally posted while adding photog's description.
While we are doing this, how many has everyone received, and how many marked helpful? My numbers are
