I think Obama is the one to get everyone (both inside and outside the US) thinking better of the US.
Change is coming. |

Good to know I wasnt alone. Although I saw many others on the TV hiding it all:-)
Well now that the speech is over, I can say in all calmness this was the most connecting speech I have ever heard in my lifetime. He was reading our minds, and making us say it, and then believe in it.
I am proud to have seen this day. |

Well here in the UK it's nearly 5:30am and it's the first time I've been awake at rollover! I stayed up all night to watch the day's events unfold and I'm so glad I did. A superb electoral performance from the Democrats and a stunning speech from Obama. Congrats to all the US members on DPC on your new president! |

If anything, it will flourish, ranting, raving and spewing vitriol against the Dems as it did under Clinton. |

Dont know if I should say this.. but right before Obama's speech, two Fox News guys were digging his memoirs looking for racial remarks from the time when he was still young. I want to believe that I heard it wrong.

ew, if the republican talk radio in Kentucky was any indication of what it was around the rest of the US, then I hope it disappears soon. |

wow, change is coming if you're right, I'm not advocating libel and slander if that was the case in Kentucky, but wait a minute, didn't I hear about freedom of speech in something called the bill of rights? |

Oh well. |
I understand why you voted for him.
I just don't think that's the way to break away from 2 party rule. |
Actually, it's the only way.
If he got 5% of the popular vote then the Libertarians would receive the same funding as the dems and repubs along with a podium at the debates in 2012. I don't see any other feasible way, do you? |
I couldn't live with myself had McCain won and I had voted for a 3rd party candidate. |

Truly an emotional moment in my life. I'm thrilled to say I was a part of it and a witness to it. Ditto the WOW!
I hope that we ALL (beyond the borders of the United States included) will benefit from our historic choice for the 44th President of the United States.
Yes We Can! |

Lol, the election's finally over but we can't get away from it for another two weeks, between shooting for, and voting on, red and blue challenges!
eta; does this mean there'll be over 300 blue entries and under 200 red?

Well, I was really just talking about one station in particular that screamed anti-Obama and hung up on any legitimate questions from Obama supporters. I just spoke out of context.
I didn't mean to sound like I wanted republican talk radio to disappear... just that one. LOL |

Although she was never convicted, I think he should pardon his mother for giving birth to him. It is a great feeling knowing that we are finally going to be rid of him, But I am going to miss the jokes and impersonations. |

Plop - plop - fizz- fizz - Oh what a relief it is ...
It's like I've had a bad case of indigestion for 8 years and someone finally passed me the Alka-Seltzer!
Just got back from a victory party and it feels so good that even though our nation is in the toilet we now have a chance to begin the long climb out. Hope the world is patient with us.
