Holiday Checklist;

1) Ensure camera battery is fully charged and pack charger.
2) Clear down memory cards, pack spare cards
3) Pack filters, lenses etc.
4) When the cab arrives to take me to the airport, leave the camera sitting on the bed - Priceless.

And today I was in one of the most picturesque islands in the region, in the national park, at an inland lake with a monastery in the middle, at sunset...

Still, it doesn't beat losing my ipod touch on the tour bus on the way back to the boat.

I wonder how my camera is getting on back at home? - I was gonna send it a postcard.

Sounds so very rotten, I am so sorry, maybe time to buy a new camera as you might get a tax break???

I've been 'borrowing' my wife's Finepix F30, a pretty good P&S, so all is not lost for the family shots on the beach. Since buying my iMac, I'm gonna have to wait a few months before buying another gadget.

Besides... disposable camera? Who do you think I am... Joey L ? ;-)

I really should learn to trust people more. The tour bus company emailed me this morning to tell me they'd found my iPod touch. So not only did they keep it for me to collect, they went to the trouble of digging through the ipod account settings to figure out my email address!

I had assumed whoever found it would just keep it.

That's very cool. Like you said, not only that they found it, but they figured out how to go through the settings and get the email address. I bet they find a lot of iPods.

And with that I will venture to work knowing that not everyone is like the selfish jerks I work with. Thanks for giving me hope!

That quote is SO funny.

Leaving your camera behind is NOT funny - I'd be feeling like I left my arms at home!
