Just wanted everyone to know that I am safely across the world in Kuwait. For those who don't know, I am currently stationed overseas in Iraq. I will be entering challenges and posting as well when I have time and the subject is right. Thanks to all the Seattle crew for the nice send off. To my wife, I love and miss you...... Also, if anyone from the Seattle crew has photos of my wife and I please send them to me.

Glad you made it there ok, Kevin. It was a pleasure and an honor meeting you and your wife in Seattle. I am kicking myself for forgetting that I had thought it would be cool to have everyone else at the GTG do a couple portrait of you & Molly and have sort of a competition. :/ Sorry. I have at least one that came out ok...

Hey Kevin, good luck and have fun! Are you at Arifjan or another of the really wonderful and exotic locations? :-)
There are things to shoot, believe it or not, but you do kinda have to look. It's not the most scenic of locations in the world. Food's good for the most part. Gets a bit warm in the summer. And may get a tad boring - good chance to practice new processing skills. |

It was good to meet you, your wife and the others of the Seattle crew. I wish I could have stayed around longer. Take great care while you are there and let us know when you are returning.

Those pictures are great. :) (Not that I'm biased or anything.. lol) I can't help but notice that Molly is more photogenic than you, Dad... ;)

Great meeting you & Molly at the GTG (and awesome that Molly & Art were able to organize it on such short notice!)

| Hey, been a few days since I posted here but I wanted everyone to know I am safe and things are going well in Iraq. I haven't been in any challenges since Kuwait but I think that now we are settled in enough that I might have the time to do some work. The internet is also a big factor because getting on DPC is forbidden on military website. So the access has been a issue. Anyway, just a update from here, hope all is well in your world! |
