Another weekend out-about in the city...

My wife finished her 8th marathon, a 3:44, qualified for Boston again, and set a new PR!

I've spent the past couple of days building a meaningful relationship with my Epson V500 photo scanner (nice piece of equipment, BTW). These aren't my street photos -- they're some my dad took during the time he spent as a doctor with the CCC in Mt. McKinley National Park (now Denali National Park) in 1939. He went up in early 1939, and my mother joined him in the spring. They stayed there until late fall 1939 when his residency began at the University of Minnesota.
This is an early Christmas project -- I'm going to try and put them into a photobook and hand them out to the family at Christmas.

I've got nothing near as interesting as Germaine's scans. But I do have a shot, taken very quickly, just for Pawdrix. :-)

And another one - probably my favorite shot of the day I spent in Strasbourg. Hint - if you plan to visit Strasbourg, do yourself a favor, drive on up the road and across the border to Baden-Baden instead. :-)

Wow, this thread really has slowed down...
I was away for the weekend and will try to catch up with comments and images shortly.
Here's number 10 while I get started.

Rare trips to town netted me little of excitement, but here is one from the propane day, only of possible interest in its reference to bvy and pawdrix.

I've been busy the last several days and not able to make comments or post photos.
Enjoyed visiting with friends and out of town company -- also enjoyed
a good football game Sunday.
