Saturday morning bus patrons. Had about a second to aim and shoot as the bus was about to drive in front of me and block my view. Had I a wee bit more time, it might be truly in focus. Or not.

This is for you, Steve. :-)

(The reason this is for Pawdrix is because of something he wrote in a forum discussion the other day: "People sitting at a bus stop are boring no matter how you cut it...in my mind, anyway. Waiting around is boring and watching people wait is even worse...so a picture of people waiting(?)...Oy Vey. Just an an example." So I saw these people waiting at the bus stop and literally laughed out loud, and thought "I need to shoot that!")

I love this. The layering of the guy stepping off the curb, the luscious light on everything

Ok...ok

13 people standing around waiting has some interest value. I stand corrected. I guess the bottom line is about having some kind of dynamic which your shot does have...albeit small but no denying it.

Cheers!

I like how a few people are looking the opposite way to the direction the bus should be coming from.

I'm glad you did stop and get the shot. An interesting shot of just about everyone looking in a different direction, as though they are avoiding being in each others space.

Great shops in front of that bus stop .. I agree with the others said - about the focus..as was posted about another shot, sometimes focus is over-rated and in this particular photo, it's the posture of the individuals that carry more weight..I like how the stains on the street along with the litter under the feet of the people give it a gritty workingman/woman feel, then up to the windows where beautiful clothes are showcased.

I love bus stop shots -- people are always so wrapped-up in their own thoughts -- totally not relating to those around them. I like the name of the store, too! I wonder what this would be like in b&w.

What did Steve do to deserve this? I like a good bus stop too!!

This is terrific. I like how everyone seems to be looking somewhere different. And this looks great against that backdrop (posters, headless brides, etc.). A more subtle observation, but the verticals seems to be converging toward the bottom of the image, which gives it some gravity. Lastly I'll comment on the cool colors -- the blues and greens. Nice indeed.
