Linguistically, I do lack, in the sense that I will often select words which are not necessarily correct (classic example, I thought 'truthfulness' was 'virility' and wrote this in an assignment at university). I am improving however, and will continue to do so with practice. Therefore my posts cannot be analysed through subtleties such as single words.
I can appreciate the opinions of those who believe me to be an interfering busy-body, and respect that perspective fully. The shock of discovering that a 14 year old girl was potentially being groomed overwhelmed me, but rest assured, I am not intending to speak to the police.
The person I agree with most is BeeCee, for this is precisely my situation, I was searching for information, which is why I registered, but thank you to the other respondents as well.
I hope I have not made an abundance of enemies, and I apologise to anyone I have annoyed, angered or offended. |
You were unsure and asked us for advice, everyone agrees the situation is strange and wrong, yet you say you're not going to the police? I would have thought you'd have been moved to report this person. Oh well, I hope the young girl doesn't get into any sort of trouble or questionable situation.

how come no one has asked what kind of shoot it was, i have gone thru stores with my family and seen tons of pictures of little girls in underwear when it comes to selling that product, on the packaging, pictures on the walls of that department etc. someone had to take those pictures...

Absolutely what I was thinking!!!!
Are all the photographers that have made comercial pictures using children from 5 to 15 in their underwear subject to be called "perverts", or to be prosecuted?

On one occasion on the boards, I have selected an incorrect term, and am from the UK (one of many) but I doubt I am the same person. Which board was it? What was the subject matter? I am curious. As you may be able to tell from my posts more generally, I am not poor at English, per se, but as a child I was taught to experiment with words, even if you seem a fool, because you learn from the error and expand your vocabulary (example, virility, I now understand, means positive masculine qualities).
As for whether this was an underwear shoot, it does not sound as though it was, and my cousin said her friend's sister did not intend to do this form of modelling. |
