This is a school project. Details below. If this does not interest you please do not feel obligated to help me.
For my Multicultural Literature class I have an interview/paper assignment that will be due the week after Thanksgiving. If you immigrated to the United States from another country/culture you would "qualify" for my project. :)
I have 30+ questions to ask you but I will give those questions out in three or four separate units/emails. Depending on the information I receive, I will most likely ask follow up questions which would result in not using all of my original questions. My professor is encouraging me and my fellow students to include a photo of our interviewee if at all possible.
This is a no obligation request, but if you feel like you could spend several hours within in the next 5-6 weeks to help with this project I would greatly appreciate it. If you are interested, but want to see the questions before you commit to anything, that is fine as well.
Feel free to respond to this thread or PM me if you have any questions. (lol, with school, no wonder I haven't been entering challenges here.) Thanks again! |

Justin, are you interested in peeps currently going through the immigration process as well, or does your project require you to limit to those who have already successfully emigrated from their home country? |

Quite a few of the questions I have prepared include comparisons between the U.S. and the "old country". The official legal process and paperwork for immigration is not that important for my project, but the person would have had to already made the journey and been living in the U.S. for at least 3-4 months.

Check out Manic, he's a recent export from the UK to Florida, I believe :-) Whether he's officially "immigrating" I do not know...
