Hi everyone,
Does anyone know how to 'self' 'DQ'? I tried to get my overexposed picture 'self' 'DQ''d several times during voting, but I"m not sure whether I did it wrong. I sent in the requests under "help -- contact us -- general inquiry and then again under administrative inquiry" but nothing has happened. Was I supposed to do something else instead?

From the menu bar use HELP, Contact and open a ticket. General Inquiry will work. Tell them the Challenge, Title and image ID and ask to please remove the image. I believe whoever gets the question will send you an email making sure you want it removed and once you respond to that it will be taken out of the challenge. That is what I have done to get an image removed.

And you will be sent an email double checking that you want to 'self' 'DQ'. You then respond to the email stating that you really do want to 'self' 'DQ'. However, you cannot 'self' 'DQ' if you have had another 'DQ' in your last 25 challenges. |

| Not to hijack this thread but I was wondering why someone would want to 'DQ' themselves. Is it if they think they crossed the line? because help says the picture cannot break any rules. So is it to save from having a very low score or something else? Thanks. |

You can 'self'-'DQ' a photo if you don't like your score, your model changes their mind, or any other reason (or no reason) except for a rules violation -- your photo must be completely legal for the challenge or it will be a "regular" 'DQ'.
As mentioned, you cannot 'self'-'DQ' if you already have any kind of 'DQ' in your past 25 entries.
The main difference is that 'self'-DQs are not displayed at the end of the challenge results, |
