It was a tough call, but I decided to give some folks a good laugh.

My entry

My best outtake

I decided I liked him better in a side-on position.

I like Rex, but decided the dragon had a better doll eating expression, and he played better with the lighting.

Snacking Snails

Outtake:
Shy Snails

I like the outtake better in many ways (esp. lighting) but decided to go with the more fun shot.

I don't have any actual out-takes, but I thought people might be interested in this recent radio story on the Invasion of the Ball-Jointed Dolls ...

You might not want to post that in the same thread with my entries. That porcelain doll didn't have much meat on it and they are still hungry.

Not outtakes as such but some of the prep work in making my shot:

Disappointed I went to so much trouble and then made such as a basic focusing error, I actually knew the focus on the front eye was not sharp as that was the look I was gong for but I will have to go for a larger DOF in future as DPC obviously doesn't like narrow arty DOF :p Also I didn't realise it was so dark a couple of days ago I purchased a monitor calibration product and now can see all my images in a new light (or dark haha).

A more in depth write up of what I did for the shot can be seen on the entry page:

ETA: Grammer and spelling
