HI
I just wanted to know. I work in sRGB IEC6 1966-2.1 Color Space . I have done all the editing. Now i have to burn them on cd to get them printed from professional lab , they use fuji mini lab.
Should i embedd my color profile i.e sRGB IEC6 1966-2.1 Color Space ,
Let me get it right to embed a profile all i need to do is check the box( infront of sRGB IEC6 1966-2.1, under title color ) while using save as function in PS

If it is a Fuji Frontier lab, typically they completely ignore any colour profiling information in the file. Leaving it there just makes the files larger.
What you need is some sort of profile for your lab, which you will need to proof with then convert to that profile and save without profiles (you've converted to the profile, so you don't need it any more)
After that, get the lab to print as is, no corrections, just the file you gave them.
//www.drycreekphoto.com/ has a lot of info on fuji frontier printers and profiling in general.
Again, if your monitor isn't calibrated, this is all meaningless anyway.

Well, i am not 100% sure if it is fuji frontier. My monitor has been calibrated . Problem is that this lab is quite far from my home but best in business.
I had taken printout from lab a month ago. I got great results.
If i check those images and if those images have an embedded profile ( color work space is same) should i embed color profile for current printouts before i can follow gordon's advice

Best approach is to ask the lab.
1/ What printer they are using
2/ If they have profiles for soft proofing and/or for final output
3/ How they recommend you provide images to them
If it is a frontier, embedding the profiles will make no difference, other than making the files larger.

Not really no. You still would want to soft proof and finish the image using the correct profile - you just want to convert to that frontier profile before printing.
The link I provided has several tutorials on just this subject - might be worth a look.
