A very very clever man is currently making technological history. Johnny Chung Lee has developed a method of using a Wii remote (or Wiimote if you will) to create extremely low-cost interactive whiteboards. Using apparently magic you can make any LCD screen or projection interactive. Check out the website here and be amazed.
I cannot wait to try this out - the guy is making history by sharing this technology with the world. I can see this changing the way I use photoshop for good. |

Very cool stuff. I'm amazed that the Wiimote has such a high sensitivity. If you see people playing the games you'd think a rough approximation of the movements should suffice. ;-)

| here's another video where the same guy, Johnny Lee demos the technology for the TED institute. What's interesting, is he uses it in Photoshop. He also demonstrates a 3D technology that's pretty bitchin as well. |

This is really, really cool. I'm already thinking up a top-down projector, putting the image onto a large desk bound with the type of material they use for projector screens. I think any limitation in the sensor resolution could be easily overcome.
Thanks a ton for posting this! |

This could be the leap forward in 3-D motion picture, gaming, and photography. The potential is there.
Amazing! |
