Yeah I had 4 votes=8.5 next 4 votes=5.5
Just to jinx my score I am hovering around 7. Will post at 100 votes. :) |

This may (will) sound like a silly question but is there a way you can view the individual scores not just the average of all of them?
I'd like to know how the spread lies =P

Keep hitting update and do the math yourself...
Example:
50 votes
Average: 6.00
51 votes
Average: 5.9411
50X6.00 = 300
51 x 5.9411= 303
Vote 51 was a 3...
There are a couple of excel programs running around DPC, but I just do it by hand, but only if I am really bored....
Post comment comment:
And you can see the breakdown after voting as a histogram when viewing your photo....

I'm happily stunned and shocked! This will be my second highest score if it holds (keeping my fingers and toes crossed!).

Thanks Scalvert! Lol. It's amazing how a 6+ score can make an average photographer giddy. |

My comments are highly complimentary. Nothing negative at all.
I'm shocked at this score. I had thought it would be a high-6 or low-7 kind of score. I'm baffled.

Not that complaining about it here will help, but some troll just gave me a 1 without any explanation as to why they think it sucks that bad. Down to a 5.56. It was within spitting distance of 6 yesterday.
This is so weird. There's got to be some pattern to it. Yesterday I was hauling in mostly votes of 5 and above, but today it's all 5 and under.

The same person gave me a comment saying I had a strong image and it should do well, then gave me a 1. Dropped my score by .08. :/ Still very happy with the score though. :) |

I would suspect the 1 and the comment were from two different people. Probably an earlier voter going back through and making some comments on their previous votes. |

I don't know. I've seen some very good images that do not appear to be evening at all but bright daylight... |

Its possible, but I had just got on DPC and updated to see one vote and comment. Clicked the profile and saw they were currently voting and commenting. No worries though, the sting doesn't last long. :) |

Not saying I did it :) Just thinking it's possible to get a positive comment, with a negative vote.
I believe yospiff is probably right though, someone was just adding comments. |

I like to think they were keyboard voting and gave me a 1 thinking it was a 10. :P |

Long exposures can sometimes look that way at a quick glance. And if that was the case, then the person should still have the courtesy to say this in a comment. |
