| So did folks lose the .5 (or greater) points on challenges other than the Free Study? I can see a precipitous drop in a new challenge (I personally dropped 2 points), but if there were large drops in some of the older challenges, I'm thinking there's trickery going on! |

nope, just the free study challenge dropped for me, the motion blur one has been going up and down all week very little
the free study dropped almost a whole point for me
I bet drew and langdon are ROFLOL right about now

Oh, then I don't think that's anything unusual. In each of my past few challenges (all sub-par scorers for me), I went to bed with around a 7, and woke up with around a 5. One vote out of 30 or 40 makes a huge difference. |

| Add me to list of people wondering what's going on. March free study went from 6.1 to 4.7 overnight. Must be alot of people having a bad day lol. |

I must be the only one who is stable. 6.1 to 5.99 is about as much as my score has fluctuated.

| I think there was one (or two) renegade voter who gave ones to everybody overnight (for North America at least) just for the fun of it. I dropped anywhere from half a point to 2 points in the three challenges. The free study and motion blur drops were brutal - from ribbon range (6.8) to brown ribbon range (low 4s). But if this is across the board, then it probably won't matter. The scores will just be low. |

If you feel a photograph deserves a vote of 1, 2 or 3, it is
suggested that you include a comment with your vote explaining why
you felt it deserved a "below average" score.
Well, after 60 votes and a 4.1, nobody has yet to comment on why they gave me a 1, 2, or 3, and I'm sure SOMEONE has. |

Mine's been pretty stable:
first vote: 4
Score after 63 votes: 4.0159
That first voter had my card marked. :-)
At least score that is less/more than mediocre generally gets more comments. :-) |

comments seem to be in short supply, for "orange" and "out of place". I got 16 comments for "parellel lines" and 4 for the other two. I'm hoping for more comments, but I'm not holding my breath...
now...back to handing out those 1's :) (JK)

My score was 7.1 when I went to bed last night, now it's at 4.8. :(
It droppped so far in such little time that I actually thought of Aprils Fools scoring but who knows at this point. I hope it is because I didn't think this picture was all THAT bad.

For the last two votes, my Free Study entry has received an average score of exactly zero according to the stats. Since this is impossible, I'm guessing two folks gave 1's to a pic that had been scoring about 6.0 with 66 votes, and other(s) lowered votes by a total of two. Or some similar and mathematically identical scenario.
In the same timeframe I get a comment of "Wow! 10".
How is this possible?

Also, my Motion Blur submission was scoring 5.0 with 123 votes as of last night, and over the last 27 votes has scored a whopping 3.26 average. I find this a bit ridiculous. Obviously something is going on.

Or it oculd just be people just hates my images.. I dunno, it has happened before.
The other image went from 6.2 to 5.6 overnight (from 70+ votes to over 120). Shrug.

In the 27 votes since last night my Motion Blur dropped almost 1/2 a point. The average vote since last night is around 4. The last time I checked before bed it was sitting at 6.83 and had been at that level (give or take .03) all day. Now it's sitting at 6.37

| Both my Motion Blur and Out of Place dropped a great deal overnight. At least when it is happening to everyone it isn't so upsetting. |

It's been brought to our attention that a noticable increase in complaints of low scoring may be caused by a group of people playing an April Fools joke, voting images low (temporarily?). If you are doing this, please don't. It's really not funny, and I would hate to see someone accidentally affected by someone who (for whatever reason) didn't switch all or some of their votes back. To those conspiracy theorists who think your admins are playing a joke on you... sorry to burst your bubble, but we're just not that clever! :)
