I have a friend that is wanting a custom "FatHead" poster made from a photo of his son playing baseball. Does anyone know where I can point him to have this made? He lives outside of Dallas.

From an article about the company:
"Weatherup says people sometimes request a custom Fathead with pictures of themselves or children, but he says the company hasn't yet discovered a way to make such a thing "Fathead worthy."

| You might check with a sign shop. Like billboard signs. The fathead stuff is printed on vinyl, with somme kind of adhesive. I don't know about the adhesive, but I know Clear Channel Outdor prints on Vinyl for really huge billboards, dont' know if they'll help you or not. Just an idea. |

What size do you want? My lab does them from around 2 foot to 7 or 8 foot - life size for an adult, in two widths.

sorry i didn't get your PM - sometimes the spambot eats them.
anyway, max size is either 41 x 72 for $119 or 41x84 for $139. To cut out more than one person incurs an extra charge, but they have to see it to quote a figure.

They're not exactly the same thing as FatHead, but you might try WallHogs.com. They make large prints on reusable vinyl that has a semi-adhesive backing that sticks to your walls but can be moved anytime you want. If you cut away the background from the image of the boy then you would probably have something similar to a FatHead poster.

//www.wallhogs.com/media/photo_tex?shop=true is their photo tex fabric - same thing my lab does. same sizes too...how coincidental.

I've seen this company's product and am really impressed.
They do LIFE-SIZE images. Really well done.

| i found //www.wall-stars.net to have custom sports wall graphics made. i ordered some for my team, the parents and players were thrilled. they're made of a high quality vinyl, and can be repositioned whenever you want. |

mpix has these for sale... They'll custom cut them and everything. For what you get it seems worth it price wise.
