Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM

There is something rotten in the kingdom of DPC

a few minutes ago I had 74 votes with 6.0945
then I got the 75 vote with a comment that said I was given an 8
and my score went to 6.0933
now I'm no mathematician but even I know this is imposable.

Somebody could have changed a previous vote at the same time. Some voters will initially vote and then go back and change it for whatever reason or the unthinkable occurred, the commenter lied. :(

I can understand what you say but something like that happened to me once before now twice is some coincidence (and that's after two hours that no one voted and the score stayed the same)
another possibility is that there is something wrong in the calculation program?

I have just read further back in this thread (after all the 6's) and I would like you to know that I am not involved in the war of words that seems to have been before. I came home from a night out and looked at my score and can't believe that I am happy about a (5.1), but when you start at (4.00)...obviously because of the crop.....HAHAHA!! and I was so happy to be over 5.0 that I wanted to share...that's it. Don't ever to forget to have fun!!

It's also possible that they typed the wrong number in the comment or pressed the wrong key to vote. It happens.

Quietly gaining a very small measure of respect. Very small. There are 5s and 6s, and even a couple of 7s to go along with the 1s, 2s and 3s. It is certainly NOT widely appreciated, but at least a few can dig it. Cool!

I really like my image, was somewhat surprised to wake up and see it starting out at 5.0xxx.....it has since picked up a little. I'm sort of amused as I feel as it's one of the better offerings that I've entered in the last month and a half, yet the voters don't agree. What do I know??? LOL!!!

Hovering in the mid-5's. Would be nice if the person who just gave it a 2 would explain what sucks THAT badly about it. I reserve that rating for bad snapshots.
