Way to go, Deb! I didn't enter anything this week, but I have an idea for numbers.

Look what that obscene score gave you :) Congrats well won.

LOL, Brian! It's doing well enough for me, though. Just a couple shades and a nod under 6, which is a bit better than expected. Pretty sure I'm stuck with that doll (which is just a wee bit creepy) on my top row for the rest of my DPC life. :-)

So I started this, hopefully, ongoing thread that I entitled "Accidental Shootings" as a place to post up interesting images that for whatever reason, weren't entirely intentional, whether they be random, delightful occurrences, or, in the case of the image below, unrealized 'til later during the editing process.

I discovered this at the edge of this image...

....that I took at my daughter's friend's birthday party, and didn't see it 'til I was going back through the batch looking for those last few images to give to Mom.

I think it's kinda cool. I'd love feedback if you wish.....

And I got to meet Jeffrey and Karen! (And MaryO and banmorn and scooter97. Twas a wonderful get-together, most of which was spent eating way too much good food followed by dessert rich in antioxidants (ie chocolate, and lots of it), followed by shooting in lovely midday sunshine. :-) I very much appreciate Jeffrey setting it up and all those who attended, and was very VERY honored when Karen asked me to sign her copy of my book! I failed to annotate in it that she was my first actual "customer" as far as I know. WAY cool!

Give me some time to find my camera, card, card reader, etc, and I'll post the somewhat skewed version of that shot. :-)

And Saturday was meet Melethia Day too. It must have been meet Melethia Weekend lol. A few of us got to meet her on Saturday at the Ohio Ren Fest GTG but I did not get any shots of her - can you believe it? I did get the backs of her sister and brother-in-law:

It was great to meet you Deb and I'm sorry that we all did not get a chance to chat more. And thanks for telling me how to actually pronouce Melethia.

I also got to meet another Deb in person, dsterner, which was great because she and I have been chatting with each other since we were on our first DPL team. Here's a pic of this Deb in action:
