Thanks, gentlemen, email is on the way. And as I noted, I *did* shoot these with the challenge in mind, and I do realize they're probably all DNMC and very low scoring. So if any of them simply strike your fancy in any way, that will do! |

positive comments puzzled by the score going down.

Some of the last 18 voters are having a troll time lowering scores in the last 2 hours. |

Very nice finish, Brian, and a great shot! I really liked that one. Have to admit that I didn't recognize you. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. And Deb, great job adding one to your top 5!! |

I'm getting hammered by DNMC votes (no comments, but it's a good picture). I shot it for the challenge, and if anyone even took a second to google it they'd see the connection.

I've been asked a couple of times about my "Monet-ism", and I really don't have the best explanation other than I just use the Reduce Noise feature in CS2 with sharpening afterwards 'til I get the effect I want. Generally, I'll doink the contrast and sometimes use a vignette as well......I realize that's kinda vague, so when this showed up in my Inbox this morning, I thought I'd pass it along.

I went all last week without one! It's so annoying to open DPC and not have that button to push, lol. Now, I'm wishing still didn't have one. |

So......I just got done uploading a collection from my vacation. One thing I realized is how much more creative and selective I can be about how I view something now that I both take, and process my own images. Yeah, I have some obligatory snapshots, and some straight-up images, BUT......
I'm no longer afraid to create something from my own viewpoint as *I* think it should be. I found that I like these images BECAUSE I doinked them around to what I wanted, purity be damned. I saw these shots in this way before I ever opened them to process them.....so this is the way they are!
Home choice:

The rest of the collection here.

Way heavier! And wow, the dials, lol! I put the book right in the camera bag, that way I can read it no matter where I am. I'm ready to jump right in though! |
