So your teammates know which image is yours in the voting? That somehow strikes me as a bit unfair.
Guess there isn't much to be done about it, but it sure could be abused to try to boost scores were the team big enough.
Maybe I'm just whiny because I'm not on a team. But then if you saw my pictures you'd know why I'm not on a team, and not likely to win any time in the near future.... ;-)

The people on my team know each other's image and give valuable input, but a rule we all agreed to was not to vote for each other's image because it would be unfair to the rest. I expect and Im sure the other teams are doing the same.

That is more than fair...
Personally I don't vote in any challenge I enter, but that is just me. If everyone did that, the vote totals would be pretty low. But I found myself comparing the other photos to mine one time, and though I wasn't voting better photos down, I quit voting and haven't voted in a challenge where I have entered since.

this is the same with me if I recognize the subject in the photo, or I know who entered it..etc... I try not to vote on those I recognize. Its just more fair like that

Factoid: DrAchoo will put forth a fabulous effort, with trees, mosses, lichens and some type of water feature to pull it all together. Meanwhile everyone else (or 12.2% of you) will need to include "weathered" in your title to explain why it meets the challenge.

Same here with Team UK, I think half of us are abstaining from voting in the next 8 weeks open challenges the rest will not vote on images they have seen before.
Am pretty sure whilst not openly looking for 'issues' SC will be on top of possible vote rigging - they are a clever bunch :) |

OK started out this morning at 7.4721 now I'm sitting at 5.6316 what gives???? I'm having the stuffing beet out of me. There must be a lot of trolls in this one. That sucks for all of us:(

All the comments are VERY positive.
I would like to think this is some kind of joke by D&L...like can we "weather" the score plummet. It's been a very long time since I have actually been REALLY pissed at the voting (of course I haven't been around for awhile either). I have no problems with honest harsh critique, but this challenge is really making me question the decision to come back here to compete. |

A lot of photographers seem to have misunderstood the challenge to be weather as opposed to weathered.
