I have a gentleman interested in buying one of my photos from my stock site. I usually keep a 3600X? pixel original after editing, and then the downsized version for the customer to review. Unfortunately, looking at my original it seems I've downsized that as well to 500X335 pixels. I also have a 700X469 that I used here in the challenge. He would like the image for personal use at 14X17 print. He's an older gentleman and not to computer savvy so I'll be sending him a CD with the image on it so he can bring it to his local print shop. I want him to be able to get the print size he wants. I could go and re-do the edit to the original image (And on the plus side, he wants it in black and white so I don't have to worry too much about color during the edit) I just wondered if I should get on editing it, or if this will print fine to that size.

Better re-do the edit.

The largest edited option you have is the 700x469. At the 14x17 aspect ratio that he wants, that will have to be cropped down to 570x469. At 150 dpi (pretty standard minimum resolution for print), you are looking at 3.8 inches on the long side. That's pretty far from 17 inches.
