Day 4 and 5. We're in a fire zone at the moment and are under 'precautionary evacuation alert' which means the next stage is evacuation. Some parts of town have already been evacuated, and we're hoping we're not next. We spent the day gathering our 'important' stuff and packing the cars just in case. I'll keep you informed as best I can, and will keep trying to post.
 and I promise this is the last 4th of July shot for this year.

I figured I may as well get these two out of the way for the month. These two are truly a slice of my life and I don't know what I'd do without them!
 
I've finally decided to give shooting RAW a good try. I'm slowly getting the hang of it and these two shots are a result of my attempts so far. |

I have been using two monitors and my pics look very different on each of them.....this looks quite dark on one of them. Hard for me to make up my mind which one to use.....Does it look dark on yours? |

my daughter had a mole removed 10 days ago and the dr was going to remove the stitches ..
we went to michel's cafe afterwards ..
she didnt want me to take any photographs of her in michel's because she says it embarrasses her when i take photographs in public .. but seeing i'm in our slice of life i decided to anyway .. also i think its good for her character ... lol .. !!!
she hid behind her raisin toast ..
we then drove to sydney for ali to see the dentist ..
being a passenger in the car and because the sky was pretty awesome i took some pics on the way .. i also took some while the dentist was working on her mouth .. she'd said not to embarrass her in the dentist taking photographs, but roger, the dentist, is a keen photographer and said 'go for it' .. !!..:) ..

I know this look so oversaturated, but thats really just how it turned out, not done in postprocessing, except for a bit of the red. |
