Yesterday, June 21, was summer solstice. I went with some friends to Hatcher pass - Independence Bowl for a nice evening hike. Here are some pics from summer's first day.

Well, in my time zone the Solstice occurred ar 4:59pm on the 20th, so I took this "sunrise" photo that morning ...
