Hey guys,
My camera will not fire at all and there is something blinking in the display on top of the camera. It's where the Fstop normally appears and it looks like a little F followed by EE.
Anybody know? I've had this camera over a year and never seen this. Can't find anything in my user guide...
Thanks in advance :) |

Are you using a lens with an aperture ring? If so check to see that it is set to f/22 or the smallest aperture.

The periodic fee is due. Take out the memory card and start inserting coins until the fEE indicator goes away.
On the D70 you could use quarters, but the D80 uses SD cards so only dimes will fit. I know it's a pain to have to use so many dimes instead of a few quarters, but paying a fEE doesn't make sense either. |

That's the only time I've seen the error on my D80 other than when the lens wasn't on all the way. If it's not the aperture ring, then maybe it's a contact issue. |

The dimes don't quite fit, should I force them in just as hard as I can. |
