I still like the idea behind this shot, but I am not too happy with the lighting. Tried to fix it afterwards in PP, even tried a remake, but I can't seem to get it right.

Ok, I'm game. It's been a long time since I've posted anything in the forum. My LEAST Favorite HIGH Scorer IS my highest scoring photo. I took it while shooting for another challenge and snapped the photo as nearly an after thought. I only snapped one frame not even backing up with anything else. I still dislike the photo and if I could delete it I would. It's just sand.

Ah, don't be so hard on yourself :-) It's BEAUTIFUL sand. wonderful lighting, and it has the grace note of the little tiny flaw near bottom center edge. I'd be happy with that picture if it were mine :-)

I still don't get why this made the 5th place. It's just a poor remake of my "Rope" entry:
(which I really like).

gawd, i'm so tired of this one. thankfully, the monty python one is gone, but this one needs to leave too. it's just so high school. the idea is interesting, but the execution sucks. i still can't believe how popular this one is. maybe some day i'll remake it, but i doubt it. move on, move on, nothing left to see...

thankfully, after tomorrow, it'll be one place lower on my front page...
